Dear Students:

In response to the rapidly changing situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), Belmont College President Dr. Paul Gasparro issued an e-mail yesterday stating spring term classes will continue online and all campus buildings will be closed until April 6^th or until we announce otherwise. For now, classes will continue in an e-learning environment to allow faculty to keep teaching and students to keep learning. I encourage you to contact faculty members with any questions regarding your online classes.

I hope you’ve started the remote learning our faculty has been hard at work preparing for you. It’s important for you to check your Belmont College e-mail and Canvas daily to remain on track with your coursework. I know you’ll learn from your interactions with your faculty and one another, whatever form they take, as well as from the course content, however it is delivered.

It is very important for you to ‘attend’ class. Lack of attendance may negatively impact your Financial Aid. Attendance is considered any contact with the faculty member through text, e-mail, phone, submitting assignments, or participating in discussions in Canvas. For specific financial aid questions, e-mail financialaid@belmontcollege.edu or call 740.695.8510 and leave a message with your name and a call back number.

If you’re experiencing technical issues with Canvas, access Canvas help. It is the little question mark on the left navigation in Canvas.
The Ohio Department of Health opened a call center to answer questions from the public regarding coronavirus (COVID-19). The call center will be open 7 days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and can be reached at 1-833-4-ASK-ODH (1-833-427-5634)Until we see one another again, face to face, or you receive another email from me, please do everything you can to stay safe and well.
